SIGUR ROS

I’ve always liked this poster because it makes so much out of so very little. Three bold stripes, with the bird being created out of the negative space in the center. Inspired by what they called Supergraphics in the 1970’s. Large, bright, and simple. It engages the viewer because their mind creates the bird, creating an intimacy between the poster than the viewer that wouldn’t be there if it was simply a picture of an animal on a piece of paper.
